This local gem consistently delivers comforting, satisfying meals that hit the spot every time. Their pizza and calzones are usually my go-to, but the wings are a standout. The mild buffalo sauce is buttery perfection, complementing the crispy, tender wings. We also tried the Sweet N Hot flavor, which strikes a perfect balance between heat and sweetness--just enough kick without overpowering. The fried zucchini was another highlight, perfectly crisped and delicious, though the portion size could be a wee larger as an app with the intention of sharing. I'd recommend if you're sharing with more than two-three people to get two orders. GG's wedding soup is pure comfort in a bowl, warm and nostalgic with a good portion of meatballs throughout. My family always gets the rib night special (unpictured), and it received unanimous praise. As for drinks, I paired my meal with a @destihlbrewery Dragonfruit Mango Wild Sour, a refreshing, tangy finish to a fantastic dining experience. “ This place never disappoints. Imagine a neighborhood diner with a full bar and a six pack shop. Breakfast is outstanding. Wings are great. Really good craft beer selection. Food comes fast, service is top notch. Even on a busy Christmas Eve morning when it looked like there was only 1 server covering the entire restaurant she kept everything going. Outstanding place, will always come back when visiting. ”

Even though the grill was busy the food arrived quickly. My Western burger was absolutely the best I've had in a long time and was cooked to perfection. I brought my Mom from Altoona and we could not stop talking about the Gateway Grill on Northern Pike the whole way back. ”

The seating is plentiful with a casual feel. My wife feels like they have the best buffalo chicken salad in the area. She also really likes their Hoagies. I have had good fish sandwiches, pizza, and wraps. ”

“ This place.... I have been eating here for over 20 years. Whenever I'm craving great wings and even better pizza this is my go to. The huge, crispy, saucy wings hit the spot. Then the pizza. The star of the show. Cooked perfect and loaded with anything you wants. It's a classic pie with amazing chew. Day after is great too! This little hole in the wall packs a huge punch! ”

“ We originally came for breakfast/ brunch, but unfortunately, the menu changed over 2 minutes before we sat down, so we had to get lunch. I wish they had the breakfast hours posted on the website or menu because then we could have made an informed decision before making the drive. Now, that does not take away from the food we ordered. First, the raspberry mule was delicious. Honestly, it was one of the best mules I have had in a while. I found out the secret was in the ginger beer. It is raspberry flavored! We ordered a "small" pizza, but this thing was enormous. It had 8 big slices and it was really good. The cheese pull on it was great, and the crust was crip and soft. I do wish they added a little more meat on it, but overall, I can't complain. Our server was friendly and attentive, and I was glad we gave them a try. We will for sure try again for breakfast. ”
